This Is the Day the Lord Has Made

I will rejoice and be glad in it....

I went outside to feed the birds, took my Bible, wanted to read a couple of chapters from Joshua, it was nice outside. I sat down in the lawn chair and realized a little too late the chair was wet. Apparently my neighbor's sprinkler was timed to run some time during the night and sprayed the chair. Nothing else was wet except me and the chair. I started laughing and thought this day may be full of surprises.

I pray your day is filled with joy and wonderful surprises from the Lord.

But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.

I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul.

May my meditation be pleasing to him, as I rejoice in the LORD.
