It Finally Happened

I was let go from my part time job yesterday. I told my husband it was the 1st time in my life I lost a job, 1st time I was fired. He said you were laid off, you were not fired. Then he said the thing that made me want to bop him for a second, he said - it was a part time job (24 hours a week), you should only feel partially bad. Apparently I gave him a look, because he said he was trying to lighten the moment.

I know God has a plan for me, He has never dropped me in the fire and He never will. For now I will try to build up my business a bit but not too much and be in prayer about finding a part time job or remain in business for myself. I am thankful for the time I worked for Jackie, she is a mighty woman of God, was such a blessing to me when my father was in the hospital especially the 6 weeks he was in ICU in January and February. Please join me in asking the Lord to bless her.

I want to share some verses with you, hope they bless you as much as they bless me, from John:

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

I am so sorry about your job. God must be closing that door in order to open another more glorious view from another window! Thanks for your prayers during my recovery. I so appreciate the sisters here in bloggy world. I KNOW those prayers are helping me heal.
