Broken Heart

I have not blogged much the last 6 months due to a couple of reasons, I spent several weeks knee deep in Ephesians and the other main reason was a feeling of total exhaustion all the time which I now know is mainly due to a broken heart I did not acknowledge because I have become accustomed to it. I cannot share the reason because I would betray a loved one’s confidence.

Today a prophet who knows nothing about me other than my name and I am friends with Jack and Anna Marie Sheffield told me God would heal my broken heart which is when it dawned on me my heart was broken in an area.

Having my eyes open to it brings so much freedom, though I was stuffing it down, the Lord is aware of it too. He knows me better than I know myself.

2012 arrived with little fanfare other than people stating they were glad 2011 was over or worried the Mayans might be right. I say 2012 is a big deal as is every year; we are closer to the return of our Lord and Savior. His mercy never ends and His grace is more than enough. Keep your eyes on Him and not on the doom and gloom hyped by the media, though the victims of tragedy, wars, disease, disasters, etc certainly need our prayers.

Our Bridegroom is coming, be prepared…

Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting:
“Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean,
was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.) Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”

So sorry to hear that you have been bearing a heartbreak, Annette. I have an unspoken grief as well (also keeping a loved one's confidence). I love that you said His mercy never ends and His grace is more than enough. So thankful for our caring Heavenly Father!

Good to see you blogging again, even if it's a selfish motive for me to know what is going on in your life. I'm so sorry for your broken heart, Annette. You don't have to divulge specifics. He knows. And, more importantly, He can heal. Much blessing and JOY to you in this coming year. I keep the Joy Christmas decoration you gave me out all year and think of you when I see it. There's a line from an old Carly Simon song that rings true to me "There's more room in a broken heart.." She goes on to sing "I believe in Love. What else can I do? I'm so in love with you." She didn't mean it spiritually but I think it fits. Praying for you, sweet friend. Hugs.
Annette, how God-cidental of us! I, too, have not been blogging as frequently, for a number of reasons. I received a visitor on New Year's Eve who had a similar message for me. I know him fairly well, but he and I haven't spoken in a year or so, and we've never shared personal stories. For him to start his visit off with, "The Lord gave me a message for you (and Frankie got one, too!)...My message came with a pottery chalice, and the design of it was of wounds that are healing...Just thought I would share this my friend! I know how to be praying for you! Much love, Camille
