He is Risen - Alleluia

On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came to the tomb, bringing the spices they had prepared. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb. They went in but did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were perplexed about this, suddenly two men stood by them in dazzling clothes. It is wonderful that he is risen and has gone to prepare a place for us. You know when I was studing this the week before Resurrection day, I was focused on Mary. Although I know that she is not the savior she showed me what I was doing wrong in my childrens lives. As a mother we alwasy want to protect our children and keep them from hurting. Well reading about her walking through with Jesus her SON whom she bore and watching him be spit on, beat, mocked and then hung to die on the cross and never not once stopping what was going on. Did she love him oh I am sure with her whole heart as we do ours, but she knew that this was GOD'S will in his life. Sometimes we need to step back and quite stepping on GOD'S toes and let his will in our childrens or even our loved ones lives be done. We all go through things that is not easy but as his word tells us in Romans 8:28, that ALL things work for the good. I learned a very sad lesson that I have not let GOD do his job that I kept interferring and if I had just stepped back they might not have gone thourgh as much as they have. So we all need to LET GO AND LET GOD!!! He can do things so much better than we can.
