February 1st
Seriously, how can it be 02/01/2011 already and time for another Siesta verse? January was an eventful month, one of my dad's closest friends died on the anniversary of dad's death, my great-nephew arrived the same day (mom and baby are doing well), 2 of my clients who laid off employees last year received new contracts and are hiring again beginning next month (praise God!), deer season ended and Bible Study began. I miss my home girls on Monday nights but certainly love Beth Moore's James Study!
My new verse is: My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.
My 2011 verses so far:
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.
I was impressed to sow the words of Jesus in my heart. Ang and I are keeping each other accountable this year as we commit God's Word into our hearts, minds and spirits. I can't wait to read the various verses posted on the Lproof blog.
To my northern siestas - stay warm and safe, to my southern siestas - stay warm and use lots of hairspray!
