Spending Saturday with My Sisters in Christ

Saturday I met Angie in person...it was such a joy and delight...I have read her blog for nearly 2 years. I caught the end of the final praise and worship at the Beth Moore Siesta Weekend in Houston, the presence of the Lord almost knocked me over when I entered the room.

Annette G (Annie's Eyes Blog), Ang and I went to lunch. I still cannot believe I have met 2 of my blogging sisters in person. Gives me hope, I will meet more of you before we are dancing together on streets of gold.

I spent a lot of time in the yard planting flowers yesterday, 120 of them, 40 more to go...can I just tell you I need aspirin and Ben Gay! Just as I plant flowers in the yard, I am going to plant God's word in my heart this year, though it will probably be 12-20 verses this year,

Have a blessed week and stay in the Word!

Have a blessed week!

Nice to be planting flowers at this time of year. I'll trade my squirrel for some of your flowers. LOL!
Have a good week.

Oh Annette. Meeting you in person, hearing your voice and looking into your eyes was such a gift to me. Now whenever I read something I can hear you better. It really was a "JOY" to meet you. I think of you every time I I look at what you gave me. It's in my bathroom right by my makeup! Thank you so much! I wish I would have gotten a picture of the 3 of us!
Love you, sweet sister in Christ!

Annette, I would have loved to have gone to the Siesta gathering last weekend, but our mission trip to Beautiful Feet (inner city Ft. Worth) was last weekend, too. I had a great weekend there, of course, but would have loved to meet some other Siestas in person. So glad you got to be a part of it for awhile!
Awww...that is so wonderful you had lunch with them...I flew into town a few hours later and just missed you! What a privilege it will be to meet you!
