This song touches my heart. Life isn't perfect, but He will see us through to that great day when there'll be no tears, and death will be swallowed in victory. Love you, Annette

This song came out just as my Pastor's wife and dear friend lay dying of breast cancer at the age of 47...I remember after she died hearing it again and the words:"... when the sacred is torn from your life and you survive..." touching me so deeply as I thought on the pain and suffering of her husband of 21 years and her seven children she left behind...Yet the truth of the song...though achingly sad...somehow comforting...we are Held (in the Everlasting Arms)we are not promised no suffering here...and we learn what it is to be held the most when we suffere loss...one day...no more.
