Another Foggy Day
Since Monday, our mornings have been extremely foggy. It's has not begun to burn off yet. Come on sun!
Sometimes our minds are foggy due to medication, illness, stress, fatigue, but thankfully our Lord Jesus helps us through the fog. He carries us in times of trouble, He carries us through illness, He carries us through stress, He carries us through the death of a loved one.
His word says:
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
I know this can be easier said than done, there is freedom in casting our cares and worries on Him. Let Him carry you and or your loved ones, that's His job, He is Savior - we are not. So let go and let God.
