Whew!

Mom and I just met with the Pension Board, the HPD Credit Union, and the Houston Police Union getting papers signed and accounts changed. We had a family assistance officer to help us. I must say everyone we met with was kind, knowledgeable, and ON time!

My husband drove us through the morning rush hour traffic...he made it without saying bad words, a miracle indeed.

I am so tired...the legal stuff is so tiring...I can't wait for 5pm to leave the office and go for a quick bike ride and then to bed.

All of that stuff is so hard. That was great you had an assistance officer who walked you through it. Take a deep breath and relax now, I pray. How is your mom doing through this? I am praying for you all for strength and rest. Love, Annette G

Oh - paper work and getting things done with agencies is a very difficult thing requiring oodles of patience.
You've done a wonderful job. I pray all will go well.
Have a good rest!

My hubby was executor of his father's estate. There is a lot of work involved with death. Thoughts and prayer go out to you sister.

My hubby too was executor of his mother's estate. The paperwork is aweful - and the running around too.
