Alzheimer's is Ghastly
I spent much of April trying (at times successfully others unsuccessfully) to meet the increased needs of a loved one diagnosed with Alzheimer's 16 years ago. I met some days head-on, others only because of a sense of duty. There is no reasoning with the person, time/days of the week has no meaning for someone that far along in the disease, hard to plan ahead because each day presents its own challenges. There is no constant... But wait, there is a constant, our Savior. We find His promises in Scripture. He tells us (Matthew 28:20) He is with us always, even to the end of the age: And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
