I suppose not. :)

All joking aside...I completely agree. That is truly my hearts desire for this holiday season...to enjoy Him and enjoy my family enjoying Him...if that makes any sense.

Beautiful post. I want to remember that. I've been feeling kind of stressed and pressed lately with all kinds of wedding details and Angel Tree details and now Christmas details all trying to coexist in my poor little brain :) I want to remember to rest in Him. I love the seasons...yes, there are so...Beautiful. I love the seasons...yes, there are some down points: the high humidity and heat and the ice storms with 12" of snow...but God was very wise in creating the diversity...how boring if it was the same all the time. I don't even think I'd like it to be fall year round...wait, maybe I would.

That is awesome about the three prayers over the one lady. Too cool.

Yes, we would all be wise to practice resting in this next month or so prior to the Cmas season, allowing us to focus on Him and not food, parties, gifts, crowds.

Sweet blessings,
PaulaPaula Vhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13948349907036852384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6085928711851529429.post-58150861529001472822009-10-22T06:01:17.762-05:002009-10-22T06:01:17.762-05:00Hala

I think it's a gentle reminder not to over-do this Christmas season and make time for what is spiritually important.

I loved your story about praying over that woman. And putting your head on the Lord's breast. My hubby has not been too well these days, and that was just what I needed to hear.
Thank you.Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14788733654505792266noreply@blogger.com
