Indianapolis 500

I am watching the Indianapolis 500 (there is a commercial break), remembering how much fun I had over the years attending the race with my father and 1 of his brothers, sometimes an aunt, sometimes my husband, and some of my cousins. One of my cousins Brian and his son are there now. I do hope one year my father and I can attend the race again in person. The sound of the cars, the fans, the speed make the race so exciting.

The patriotic displays in Indianapolis over Memorial weekend are spectacular. I pray we remember the men and women who are serving now and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to defend our freedom since the founding of our country.

I will not ask God to bless America, but I will pray that America blesses God.
